Do you take my insurance?
We are a fee-for-service practice. We have one price schedule. We are an out-of-network dental office for all dental insurance companies. We can digitally file your claim, and any payment from your insurance company will be sent directly to you from your insurance company. We can send pre-authorizations to your insurance company after a new patient exam.
Do you accept CareCredit®?
We do accept CareCredit®, and we participate with the 12-month interest-free plan with amounts over $200.
What happens at the first appointment?
Our new patient exam takes 90 minutes. It is $125, and it does not include X-rays. It includes photos, an iTero® scan, a head and neck exam, and a treatment plan with prices for ultimate dental health. If needed, a 3D i-Cat™ scan can be taken at the appointment for $345 or four cavity detecting X-rays for $61, or you can bring X-rays that have been taken in the last year. For all new patients, we require a $50 reservation fee. If the appointment is cancelled at least a week prior, the fee is refundable. If you are sick the day of the appointment and need to reschedule, we will be happy to reschedule your appointment to the next available time.
What type of dentistry do you offer?

Dr. Peterson does all aspects of general dentistry, full-mouth restorations, safe root canals with GentleWave®, Fotona laser and ozone gas, Invisalign® clear aligners, Vivos System®, HealthyStart® and laser aesthetics. Our aim is to do minimally invasive dentistry using the best equipment, with the most biologically sound dental materials available.
How can I safely remove my amalgam fillings?
If you are uncomfortable with your amalgam fillings, we invite you to have them professionally removed at The Dental Studio. Our dentist will replace the old fillings with a healthier and more cosmetic composite material.
